He has over 24 years of management consulting experience. Giovanni Calia is a trusted advisor to senior management at leading corporations and private equity firms and has led hundreds of strategy projects and business due diligence covering a significant number of industries.

He focused on issues such as growth strategy, pricing policy, channel management, market entry strategy, new product launch, performance improvement, sales force effectiveness and organisation redesign as well as buy-side and sell-side business due diligence and M&A projects.

Before joining Fortlane Partners, Giovanni Calia worked in Ernst & Young, leading the Commercial Advisory Services practice in Italy and for thirteen years in L.E.K. Consulting as a Partner and Managing Director of the Italian office. Prior to this he worked for another international management consulting firm (PIMS – Profit Impact of Market Strategy).

Giovanni Calia earned a degree cum laude in Economics at the Bocconi University in Milan.
