This divestiture is GFI Informatique’s first step towards refocusing on key geographical markets in application of its strategic plan in place since July 2009.
"This transaction with Vision IT Group will ensure the durability and development of GFI Informatik in Germany", explained Vincent Rouaix, CEO of GFI.
"Several European strategic players and specialised German investors showed their interest for GFI Informatik during the competitive sales process that we launched at the end of 2009. Besides its competitive offer, Vision IT distinguished itself from other potential buyers due to its complementary geographical location and its culture very similar to that of GFI Informatik.
